Programme description
Greenhorn Campground LLC sends and receives text messages on (530) 412-5732. There are two kinds:
Replies. When you text us, we reply to your questions about camping rates, gatehouse hours, directions, reservations, campground policies, and boat decontamination.
Reservation messages, for people who opt in. If you tick the box to receive them, we text you about your own reservations and visits: links to finish a booking and one-time sign-in codes, your gate pass and vehicle passes, payment reminders for a balance you owe, check-out reminders, and an offer to keep your site for next season (our yearly rollover offer). We do not sell or rent our list, and we do not send messages on behalf of anyone else.
How you opt in
By texting us first. Our number is published on our website and on signage at the campground. Texting us is consent to receive replies to that conversation.
By ticking the box. When you create an account, book a stay, or update your details at book.greenhorncampgroundllc.com, there is an optional box, unticked until you tick it (see it here), that reads:
“I agree to receive automated text messages from Greenhorn Campground LLC about my reservations — booking links and codes, gate and vehicle passes, payment and check-out reminders, and next season's rollover offer. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”
Opting in is never required to book, stay, or buy a pass. We do not text day use passes; they are printed at the gate. We record when and where you opted in.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Reservation messages depend on your bookings and visits; replies depend on how many messages you send us.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. These are charged by your mobile carrier, not by us.
How to stop
Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. You will receive one confirmation after replying STOP and then no further messages. Reply START to opt back in. You can also untick the box in Your details at book.greenhorncampgroundllc.com/account/.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier's network and is not guaranteed.
Automated replies
Replies to this number may be generated automatically. Anything concerning an injury, an accident, a legal or insurance matter, a refund, or a change to an existing reservation is passed to a member of staff, who will follow up. For an emergency, call 911.
Privacy
Your mobile number is used only to reply to you and, if you opted in, to send the reservation messages described above. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
